As an agricultural establishment in a rural setting, the Embik Learning Centre becomes the first point of call for solutions in respect of problems farmers encounter in their operations.

The College runs short term practical courses of four weeks to improve the technical skills of peasant farmers with the aim of improving agricultural productivity |

The College has an ICT training unit that runs courses in Microsoft Office to facilitate record keeping for the entrepreneurs and to broaden their horizon through the internet especially with respect to their vocation.

The Ashanti School for the Deaf (ASFD) and Embik have agreed through exchange of letters to collaborate in sourcing sponsorship to give a three year training in vocational agriculture to the JHS students of the School to enable them settle back more productively into their traditional agriculture background after school to earn a more descent and independent lives.
Disabled persons in the community, in comparison with their non-disabled counterparts, have access to fewer supportive systems and resources. This programme is an attempt to improve the capacity and skills of the disabled and make their environment less restrictive and accommodating for their development and wellbeing.

The College runs National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) programmes in Agriculture to provide a structured training programme of one to two years to the Junior and Senior High School graduates who want to make agriculture a vocation.
